The 78th British Academy Film Awards, commonly known as the BAFTA Awards, which honors films of any nationality that were screened in British cinemas in 2024, were announced on February 16, with “Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story” winning the award for Best Documentary.
Even though it missed out on the Academy Awards shortlist, “Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story” also recently won the Award for Outstanding Producer of Documentary Motion Pictures at the PGA Awards, while also winning Best Documentary at the Lumiere Awards. The highly acclaimed film, directed by Ian Bonhôte and Peter Ettedgui, also won Best Documentary Feature at the Critics Choice Documentary Awards.
